2024-25 REC League/House League age groups

 

DIVISION YEAR GRADE SKILL LEVEL
Jr Sonics Beginner 2017, 2018 1 & 2 First time your child has played basketball. Activities to get them used to the basketball.
Jr Sonics Intermediate 2016, 2017 1 & 2 Your child has played in Jr Sonics Beginner, or has played with a basketball before, like at home or at the park.
U10 Coed 2014, 2015, 2016 2, 3, & 4 This would be the first introduction into full structured basketball games in a learning format.
U12 Coed 2012, 2013 5 & 6 Structured competitive games.
U14 Coed 2010, 2011 7 & 8 Structured competitive games with a higher skill level.

What age do you have programs for?

Ages 6 – 18.

Rep/Competitive teams are ages 9 – 18.

Where are the programs located?

All of our programs are run out Bradford based gyms. Including Elementary, Highschool and Leisure Centre.

When are rep team tryouts?

Tryouts for all rep teams are held on the first weekend in September, after schools are back in session. Tryout location and details will be posted once school permits are released for the 2024-25 school year.
